Energy Storage
Since 2010, our firm has been actively involved in utility scale energy storage projects. We routinely assist clients in obtaining site control for stand-alone compressed air energy storage (CAES) and utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) along with co-locating storage projects as a part of a utility scale wind or solar installation. Our experience also includes advising clients on required state regulatory filings and approvals, helping clients navigate state and local permitting requirements, including any county and municipal regulations, issuing opinion letters to support project transactions including advising on applicable provisions in the construction loan financing agreements, equity capital contribution agreements, and membership interest purchase agreements.
